SOC Airdrop Mechanism

The total supply of the official token of the Socrates platform, SOC, is 10 billion tokens. Of this, 50% will be distributed to users through airdrops, while the remaining 50% will be retained by the platform. SOC tokens will be gradually released based on the growth of the platform's genuine active users.

Point Allocation Principle

The system calculates points based on various user activities on the platform, converting these actions into points, which are then used to allocate SOC during each airdrop cycle. The share of SOC received by each user is proportional to the points accumulated during the airdrop cycle. After each SOC airdrop is completed, the points are reset and begin accumulating again.

User activities are divided into two main categories:

Web2 behaviours and Web3 behaviours.

Web2 behaviours: Posting content (text, voice, video, comments), participating in debates, voting, and other social activities. Additionally, behaviors like importing contacts and inviting new users to register. Web3 actions: Injecting airdrops into posts, claiming airdrops, minting content (text, images, music, videos) into NFTs, minting NFT avatars or accounts, engaging in NFT trading, token transactions, and sending airdrops in IM group chats.

Web3 behaviours carry more weight than Web2 behaviours. The frequency of interactions and the type of behaviours a user engages in will be converted into points, which determine the amount of SOC tokens awarded during each airdrop cycle.

Airdrop Release Mechanism

SOC tokens will be released incrementally based on the growth of the platform’s genuine active users. For every 100 million active users added, 1% of the total SOC supply will be unlocked. Once the platform reaches 5 billion active users, the entire SOC supply will be fully released. This mechanism means that the growth of genuine active users is the key to SOC token releases, with each milestone unlocking a corresponding portion of the tokens. The 5 billion SOC tokens retained by the platform will be released following the same rules.

Impact of Genuine Active User Growth on SOC Airdrops

The "Genuine Active User Growth Index"is the core parameter driving the SOC airdrop release mechanism. Even if users are highly active through Web2 and Web3 behaviours, SOC tokens will not be released until the platform reaches each 100 million user milestone. Therefore, the growth of genuine active users directly dictates the pace at which SOC tokens are airdropped.
